CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Correction: Headline initially said missing 2 months. Galvan was missing 1 month.
The search is over for a man who had been reported missing since September.
Lt. Michael Peña with the Corpus Christi Police Department said officers found 48-year-old Ruben Galvan in downtown Corpus Christi.
CCPD first issued a missing persons alert on Galvan on Sept. 24 after his family made an official missing report two days earlier. The department issued a second alert on Oct. 21.
Galvan was known to frequent the downtown area and believed he was in need of medical assistance.
According to Lt. Pena, police officers found Galvan at Interstate Highway 37 (IH37) and Water Street on Thursday afternoon. He is being reunited with his family.
