CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Nueces Brewing Company located in downtown Corpus Christi on S. Water Street is preparing for its first Halloween event.

The staff is encouraging the community to come dressed in your best costumes.

Your family can come and enjoy the Nueces Brewing Company's 2019 Halloween Bash.

You may remember the local bar had its grand opening in July 2019.

The event is open to the public at noon.

There will be pumpkin carving all day, and the business will also have a magician from 3-7p.m.

Pumpkin roll races will begin at 5 p.m., along with a city-wide scavenger hunt.

“I mean we never wanted to be a total bar outfit, we really put this place here for the community and we love the kids," said Cale Moore. "I've got them myself I enjoy them running around.” said Cale Moore.

The brewing company says it has future events planned as well.

“We have different yoga communities, we bring in artist from all over Corpus and we are going to continue to grow in that way we've got a big Christmas market coming up we just want as many people as we can and also to support all the local people,” says Joshua Fraedrick.
