The annual lighting of the Water's Edge Park Christmas tree set for tonight has been postponed because of the approaching threat of rain.
The ceremony will include performances by The Clarissa Serna Band and Mariachi Aguila before Mayor Joe McComb and H-E-B's Regina Posada-Garcia officially light the tree.
It's now set for 6 p.m. Sunday.
Due to social distancing, this event is by invitation only. Masks are required. The event will be carried by the city's Facebook page.
