CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A man wanted for allegedly robbing a game room in Victoria is now behind bars.
Kingsville Police say Terence Lamont Adair was arrested on August 26 in a joint effort SWAT and the Victoria County Sheriff's Office.
Adair is accused of robbing the Lucky Penny Game room located on Halletsville Highway in Victoria County on August 4.
According to a press release from Kingsville police, during the robbery, two black males, one of whom was armed with a handgun, took approximately $30,500.00 in United States currency. The Victoria County Sheriff’s Office had very few leads on the case at the time.
Investigators received an anonymous tip on August 23 that named Adair as a possible suspect in the case. Captain Mark Frost with Kingsville police looked further into the case and says he recognized one of the suspects as being Terence Adair. He was allegedly wearing the same clothing in a recent drug case on August 16. That's when the Sheriff's Office in Victoria County was notified.
