CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — JC Penny is sending some students back to school in style. The clothing chain opened its doors early today to welcome kids from JFK Elementary School and West Oso Elementary School.
The store held a shopping spree for 100 of students from those schools. Students were handed gift cards while volunteers helped them pick out new clothes for school. The 'JC Penny Back-To-School Shopping Days' addresses clothing needs for schools with the help of local nonprofits and other corporate partners.
