The Ingleside Chamber of Commerce announced it is shutting down.
In a statement posted on its website, board chair Kelly Shepperd says the chamber and the city of Ingleside could not reach an agreement on partial funding for events like December's ‘Renaissance Faire.'
Other events include ‘Roundup Days’ and the ‘Beer and Wine Festival’.
Sheppard says because an agreement with the city couldn't be reached, she announced the closing of the Ingleside Chamber of Commerce.
Sheppard says chamber members will continue working in and helping the Ingleside community in different ways.
