Hurricane Alley water park held an event today that’s known as Sensory Sunday.
Park officials says this event was specific to children with sensory disabilities. The music is turned off and so is the wave pit, allowing these children to enjoy the water.
“It gives them the opportunity to come when it's not too crowded,” said Amber Bass, who was visiting the park on Sunday. “It’s not loud, there’s no lines. It's just a friendly environment. They love it.”
Today was the last Sensory Sunday for the season.
Officials hope to host more of these events in the future.
