ROCKPORT, Texas — One Rockport business owner is holding a raffle to help families during the holidays.

Cynthia Torres owns Rockport Storage and More. She came up with the idea for a raffle to raise money to help dozens of families in the Rockport area.

She has finished out a cabin in style. It will come with a fridge and TV to make it perfect for watching the Dallas Cowboys.

She's selling 200 tickets at $100 apiece. For a chance to win the cabin and several other prizes.

“If the Lord put me in this position to help, then I can do this and help,” Torres said. “You know, it's always to spread your blessing, so I just figured doing this, it would help a lot of people.”

The Rockport chapter of the Gypsies Motorcycle Club are also collecting toys for kids in the area.

Torres says all proceeds will be used to help local families during the holidays.

She says they will hold the raffle once all tickets are sold. Other prizes include gift cards, jewelry, a heated hoodie and tools.

You can pick up a ticket at Rockport Storage and More.
