CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Students at Flour Bluff High School were forced to evacuate Thursday afternoon because of a fire.

Kim Sneed, Flour Bluff ISD Public Information Officer, said the fire occured in a bathroom located in the 200 Hallway. An alarm was sounded to alert students and staff to evacuate. The Corpus Christi Fire Department put out the fire and checked the entire building.

Students went back to class once crews were finished. Students who had class in the 200 Hallway were moved for a short time to the Wranosky Gym until the fire department gave the all-clear.

There were no injuries reported.

The school district sent a letter to parents. The school district says will investigate the cause of the fire as well as any individuals who may have been involved in the incident.
