First responders eat free at Chops & Eggs on 9/11

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Chops & Eggs Corpus Christi is honoring first responders on 9/11.

The southside restaurant is feeding all on-duty first responders for free any time of the day. Chops & Eggs will be offering breakfast, lunch and dinner to anyone in a first responder uniform.

Undercover officers can eat free by showing their badge.

The restaurant is expecting a full house.

According to the Chops & Eggs general manager, Chef and CEO Jordan Jaradat is feeding first reponders for free that day because he wants to give back to the protectors of our community. Donations will also be accepted that day. The general manager told Action 10 News that the money will be given to the Corpus Christi Police Foundation to help with training, special programs, and new technology.
