CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A family who lost everything in a house fire on Cornelia Circle is trying to rebuild.

This is what's left of the home after the September 22nd fire.

It started on the patio and spread to the home.

Police arrested a man and charged him with arson.

Two adults and three kids escaped the burning house.

On Saturday, the family is having a benefit to raise money to get the supplies to rebuild the home.

They'll be selling chicken leg quarter plates for $10.

The fundraiser is taking place on Saturday at the Lucky Spots Sweepstakes located at 4108 Weber at 3:00 p.m.
