La Retama Central Library has invited the public to dance the night away at its “Love Never Dies: Dia de los Muertos Masquerade Ball.”

"Traditionally, Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is celebrated to honor and remember loved ones who have passed," their event page says. "The tradition, which originated in Mexico, is celebrated in Latin American countries on All Saints and All Souls Day."

The event is Saturday evening, Oct. 19 from 7 pm to 10 pm at 805 Comanche Street.
