Dia De Los Muertos Masquerade Ball is this evening

La Retama Central Library has invited the public to dance the night away at its “Love Never Dies: Dia de los Muertos Masquerade Ball.”

"Traditionally, Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is celebrated to honor and remember loved ones who have passed," their event page says. "The tradition, which originated in Mexico, is celebrated in Latin American countries on All Saints and All Souls Day."

The event is Saturday evening, Oct. 19 from 7 pm to 10 pm at 805 Comanche Street.

This family friendly event encourages costumes. Dress to impress in your favorite Dia De Los Muertos gear!

Attendees can enjoy live music by DJ EZ, crafts, treats, and refreshments all for FREE.
