CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A Carrizo Springs woman died in a crash with a bus in Live Oak County.
DPS Troopers say the woman crashed into a tour bus Wednesday night just before midnight. She was driving on US-59 South-West of George West when she ran a stop sign. That's when her Ford Fusion hit a tour bus that was crossing the intersection.
The 33-year-old woman died at the scene. Her identity has not been revealed. Troopers say she had a 9-year-old passenger who was airlifted to Driscoll Children's Hospital with serious injuries. Two people traveling in the tour bus were taken to the hospital with serious injuries also.
DPS is still trying to determine why she failed to stop at the intersection.
