The city of Corpus Christi is moving forward with reconstructing the Cole Park Pier.
The city says they are working hard to get the bidding process finished by the end of the year so construction can start by 2021.
According to the city, residents helped create what the pier will look like. The new pier will be widened.
There will be extra parking, closer to the pier. It will be equipped with extra shade structures, extra fishing space, and fish cleaning stations.
