CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — If there are any issues or concerns in your neighborhood the Corpus Christi Police Department wants to hear about them.

They are hosting a community meeting on September 19, 2019 and encourage everyone to attend.

This isn't the first time the City has hosted a community meeting.

Our Action 10 news team spoke to one resident who plans to share his neighborhood concerns at the community gathering.

Robert Olney has lived in the Annaville area since the late 90's.

Olney says he has seen many changes.

However, he says more work still needs to be done, for example, area streets.

“But the streets, are terrible, all around here,” says Olney.

Olney says he works seven days a week and the streets can potentially damage his vehicle.

CCPD officers believe Olney just might not be the only person in the Annaville area with concerns.

The community meeting will take place at the Annaville Baptist Church.

CCPD says several city departments such as Animal Care Services, City Water, along with the Annaville Fire Department and more will all be under one roof for everyone.

“And this gives a chance for citizens to come out and city services are all in one house under one roof they ask questions, they can share their concerns and it gives us obviously a chance to interact with people as well which is fantastic for police,” says Lt. Brad Pici.

The public is motivated to come with their questions and concerns so that way they can interact with the proper department heads.

The gathering will begin at 6 p.m. at the Annaville Baptist Church located at 4025 Violet Road.
