CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Time is running out to fill out your 2020 Census form.
Today Nueces County Officials helding a news conference to stress the importance of getting it down.
So far about 54.9% of Nueces County residents have completed the census forms and mailed them in.
Filing out the form is important, it means federal dollars for schools, streets and even the airport.
An accurate count also means getting the right amount of representation for us in Washington D.C..
According to Nueces County Judge Barbara Canales, "Your responses, and I'm going to repeat this, can not be used against you. Only to help you. Only for you. Without it, we will not be able to collect and get this a billion dollars over the next 10 years. if we get a 10% undercount."
The census form can be completed online at www.2020census.gov.

The deadline to have the form completed is September 30th.
