CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Art Museum of South Texas (AMST) is honoring local military service members throughout November. Through a partnership with Whataburger, the museum will offer free museum admission every Saturday in November to all military service members (both active duty and veteran) and their families. The museum will also display photos of local service men and women and their families every Saturday as well.

Beginning Saturday, November 2nd, AMST, in concert with Whataburger, military service members, and their families, are invited to experience a one-of-a-kind presentation that honors those that serve or have served but providing the opportunity to see their original photos on the walls of the Art Museum.

The museum is asking the Coastal Bend community to send photos of themselves or family members who are in the military or are veterans. Museum staff will create a 3-D image presentation that will be displayed in the museum on Saturdays. Photo submissions may be submitted through social media using the hashtag #AMSTSERVICESATURDAY. The submitted photos will be transformed into the classic red/blue 3-D image and added to the presentation.

To complete the experience, Whataburger is providing 3-D glasses for the Service Saturday military appreciation program to complete the interactive 3-D presentation visible through red/blue glasses.
