The wall will feature more than 3,400dog tags, with the names of every Texan killed during the Vietnam War.

The names of about 200 Coastal Bend residents will be included in the 'Waves of Honor' wall.

Rosie Perez lost her brother in the Vietnam War. She is grateful for the tribute.

"Just very proud of all the soldiers that have perished and it's a wonderful feeling that they will never be forgotten," said Perez.

The dedication ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, Veterans Day. The Texas Surf Museum is located at 309 N. Water Street.
