CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Annual Teddy Bear Toss is this weekend at the American Bank Center.
Saturday's game between the Corpus Christi Ice Rays and the Lone Star Brahmas will feature the Ice Ray's "Teddy Bear Toss."
All fans are invited to bring new Teddy Bears or stuffed animals to the game.

"And after the IceRays score the first goal of the game, we want those teddy bears out on the ice so we can collect them up, and give them to kids in need so they can have a great Christmas," said Ice Rays President, Cassidy Lange.

There is no limit on how many teddy bears you can bring. In fact, Lange says, the more the merrier. The team hopes to collect more than 1,500 stuffed animals.
The Ice Rays will also be wearing Ugly Sweater themed jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game. The game starts at 7:30 p.m.
