Parts of the eastbound SPID access road will be closed next week. The Texas Department of Transportation is continuing work on the ramp reversal project.
Starting this Sunday, May 5 at 9 p.m., the eastbound frontage lane along the freeway (SH 358) will be closed in various locations between Kostoryz Road and Airline Road. However, driveway access to all businesses and properties will remain open at all times. The road closures are scheduled until the end of the week, Friday, May 10.
All work is weather permitting and subject to change.
The speed limit in the construction area is 55 mph on the main lanes and 40 mph on the frontage road. Drivers should be on the lookout for construction workers at all times along the entire SPID corridor. Traffic fines double in work zones when workers are present.
