One of television’s most beloved moms is set to be the keynote speaker at the Purple Door’s Great Expectations luncheon.
Emmy nominated actress Meredith Baxter is most known for playing the Keaton family mom on “Family Ties.”
Baxter will share her personal story of domestic abuse while raising five children.
The luncheon will take place on June 25th at the Solomon Ortiz International Center.
During a luncheon Tuesday afternoon, Flint Hills presented the Purple Door Shelter with a $20,000 donation.
The shelter provides free and confidential counseling services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
