A Carroll High School student was hospitalized after a brawl Thursday morning at the school’s gym area.
The incident occurred about 10:30 a.m. Corpus Christi Independent School District police said two students were fighting and one of them had his head slammed against the floor.
That student was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The CCISD police spokesman said both students will face school disciplinary action.
There was no additional word on the condition of the injured student.
