A $1.1 million dollar bond is set for the man accused of causing a deadly weekend accident.
Wosbaldo Rios, 44, is charged with intoxication manslaughter and assault with a vehicle. According to jail records, he’s a native of San Juan.
Police say the suspect was speeding early Saturday morning near the J.C. Elliott Landfill when he went off the road into a culvert.
The truck the suspect was driving rolled several times, fatally injuring 32-year-old Rodolfo Trevino of Edinburg who died at the scene.
Another passenger in the vehicle remains in critical condition.
