The Great Texas Warrant Roundup is set to begin next week, and this year’s amnesty period is going to be a little shorter.
The city of Corpus Christi announced today that this year’s Great Texas Warrant Roundup will run from Feb 18 – 22, one week less than the amnesty period of two weeks given in previous years.
The roundup allows those with warrants a means to avoid arrest by addressing their outstanding citations through multiple payment methods.
City Municipal Court officials and local law enforcement are set to officially announce the roundup’s kickoff and discuss details of the program in a news conference at city hall on Friday.
