Newborn babies at CHRISTUS Spohn are sporting cute little red hats. It’s all part of National Heart Month. The campaign is called Little Hats, Big Hearts.
The little hats were knitted by local volunteers and each one is unique. Local hospitals and the American Heart Association want to raise awareness for babies who suffer from congenital heart defects.
About 200 babies are expected to born this month at Spohn South and each of them will get a little red hat.
