Big changes are in the works for the Buc Days Navy Army Night Parade.
“Leopard at Crosstown will be under significant construction,” says Buccaneer Commission CEO Johnny Philipello.
Buccaneer Commission CEO Johnny Philipello says they are changing the Parade route due to construction from the Harbor Bridge.
Philipello says they are still working out details, but the parade will kick off at the American Bank Center.
The changes will not affect the distance of the parade or prevent people from camping out.
“If you want to have the whole family stay overnight starting on Friday and set up, those options are available,” says Philipello.
They are also adding a new event called the Parade Pachanga, a VIP parade viewing party, held at the American Bank Center exhibit hall.
“The parade will drive into the building and go out into the parade route,” says Philipello.
There will be music, activities for kids, cocktails, and food.
It all kicks off May 4.
