CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The 2019 Realms Con Anime, Gaming and Multimedia Convention is back in South Texas for the next three days.

This is the 15th annual Realms Con, making it the longest running convention of its kind in South Texas. It's also the first, and largest, gathering of its kind in the Coastal Bend area of comic enthusiasts, gamers, anime fans, horror junkies, and sci-fi addicts.

It starts Friday and runs through Sunday at the Emerald Beach Hotel, where they are expecting more than 3,000 people to attend.

You can also meet some of its community partners such as CASA of the Coastal Bend, Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation, and La Retama Central Library, who have all joined in giving back something exceptional to our community.

Information about what is going on at the three-day festival and tickets can be found at realmscon.com

Children 10 and under get in free with an adult.

A weekend badge can be purchased at the door for $50, a two-day pass for $40 on Saturday, or you can get individual day passes: Friday is $30, Saturday is $35, and Sunday is $20.

There are special deals on rooms for Realms Con attendees. Call 361-883-5731 for more information about that.
