Ali’s Café is honoring the true meaning of the season by giving out free Thanksgiving meals next Tuesday November 20th, 2018.
The Café is currently asking for donations such as canned vegetables, corn bread mix, cranberry mix, and plastic silverware to serve as many people as possible. This will be their sixth year of giving out free thanksgiving meals, and anyone is welcomed.
Customers say the food that is served is just as impressive as Ali’s good deed.
“I love that people do this for the community, because there’s a lot of people that go hungry and that’s great on her. It’s a blessing.” Said Annette Herbert, customer of Ali’s Café.
You can drop off donations at the restaurant on Monday from the hours of 7:00am to 3:00pm, or Tuesday between 7:00am and noon.
Ali’s Café is located on 2929 Norton Street and the meals will be served Tuesday from noon until they run out of food.
