With the cold temperatures, many of the area homeless are headed inside to local shelters to find warmth. Those shelters take in as many people as possible but sometimes the demand outweighs the supplies.
Local charities continue to hand out blankets and warm clothes to those who need them, and now the charities need your help.
The Good Samaritan is just one shelter taking donations. Some of the most needed items are gloves, beanies and jackets.
If you have anything you can give, you can drop the items off at the Good Samaritan located at 210 S. Alameda Street.
