UPDATE (8:47 a.m.): All lanes of IH 37 are now CLOSED, north and south bound, while crews work to clean up this accident, according to Sgt. Nathan Brandley, Media Communications for DPS.
An accident at Labonte Park on I37 has traffic backed up coming into Corpus Christi this morning.
A large truck can be seen on it’s side in the middle of the highway.
Authorities are asking drivers to find an alternate route while crews clean up the mess spilled by the truck.
