The 58th Annual Texas Jazz Festival will be kicking off on Friday, October 19th, 2018 in Heritage Park. This is the longest running free jazz festival. It will feature four stages of live jazz music, with a variety of food and market vendors.

Details about the festival were announced on October 10, 2018 and this year is expected to be bigger and better than last year.

“This year we are hoping everyone is happy, ready to party, and ready to enjoy the jazz festival. We have new bands coming from the French Quarter in New Orleans, so every year we get bigger and better.” Says Charles Herschbach, director of logistics.

Jazz Festival organizers are recommending the RTA’S park and ride, so that festival goers do not have to worry about parking. You can get picked up from the County courthouse or City Hall, and taken to the site.

The three day festival will take place October 19th until October 21st.  It is free and open to the public, all ages are welcome to attend.
