AEP Texas has scheduled a temporary outage beginning at 1 a.m. Oct 4, for customers at the intersection of Staples Street and South Padre Island Drive.
AEP says power should be restored within four hours, and will affect the traffic lights at the Staples and SPID intersection.
The planned outage will allow crews to safely complete a needed, permanent repair to some equipment in the area, AEP said.
