Three restaurants landed on the B-list in Tuesday’s edition of the Kitchen Cops.

Brewster St. Icehouse located at 1724 Tancahua scored a 100.

El Ranchero Tortilla Factory located at 3901 Carmen scored a 100.

Sno-Ball located at 3830 Baldwin scored a 100.

Taqueria Veracruz located at 3964 Baldwin scored a 100.

Earning a spot on the A-list with a 99 is Church’s Fried Chicken located at 4901 Greenwood.

Guerra’s Restaurant located at 3787 Leopard scored a 98.

Jack in the Box located at 1502 Airline scored a 98.

Pizza Hut located at 3657 Leopard scored a 98.

Port A Pizzeria located at 407 East Avenue G scored a 98.

Sam’s BBQ located at 15801 Northwest Boulevard scored a 98.

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria located at 5488 South Padre Island Drive scored a 97.

A La Mode Gelateria located at 14254 South Padre Island Drive scored a 97.

Pete’s Chicken-N-More located at 6502 Yorktown scored a 97.

Taco Rico located at 4102 Greenwood scored a 97.

Taqueria Los Altos De Jalisco #3 located at 8151 Leopard scored a 96.

Miss K Catering located at 1726 State Highway 361 scored a 96.

Desserted Island located at 100 East White Avenue scored a 95.

Black Sheep Bistro located at 15201 South Padre Island Drive scored a 95.

Rock & Roll Sushi Lounge located at 15121 South Padre Island Drive scored a 95.

Subway located at 5441 Everhart scored a 90.

Macdaddy’s Family Kitchen located at 118 Beach Street scored a 90.

El Gallo De Jalisco located at 10329 South Padre Island Drive scored a 90.

Dropping down to the B-list with an 89 is Los Mariachis #3 located at 600 US Highway 77.

Violations included corrosion on the grill shelves in the cooler, a dirty ice maker, no thermometer, hand sink was blocked and all the holes in the ceiling need to be sealed.

Island Café located at 301 Alister scored an 87.

Health inspectors found raw bacon kept at the wrong temperature, raw meat stored above hashbrowns or vegetables, a pan of cooked bacon on top of raw bacon, no thermometer, flies and employees not wearing beard guards.

Dairy Queen Of Port Aransas located at 307 West Cotter Avenue scored an 86.

The restaurant lost points because hamburger patties were not stored correctly, an employee scratched his head and did not wash hands, chemical spray bottles were stored near straws, left over food was not labeled, gnats, employees were not wearing hair or beard restraints, employees were wearing jewelry, personal items were stored on top of clean pans and a condensation leak needs to be repaired.
