CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority is doing its part to make sure people have a ride to polling locations on Election Day.
Jorge Cruz-Aedo the Chief Executive Officer of the Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority said, " We want to ensure that everyone has a way to get to the polling place. We don't want financial hardship or any kind of situation to be a barrier to get out and vote."
As part of the "Ride For Free Vote, November 3rd," campaign, people will be able to ride the B-line, B-Line Paratransit services, and rural on-demand services for free, to their polling location.
People will not have to provide proof of voter registration or proof of identification.
Free rides will be offered from 6 am until 8 pm on Nov. 3, 2020.
