Detectives have just released surveillance video taken from a convenience store located on the 600 block of Airport Road.
The clerk told officers, the suspect was armed with a handgun when he demanded cash from the register.
Police say when someone tried to walk into the store, the suspect got scared and ran off.
He was able to get away with several cartons of cigarettes and an unknown amount of cash.
