Weber Bingo closing to test employees after possible coronavirus exposure

Weber Bingo is making changes to how it operates after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

On June 19, Weber Bingo posted on its Facebook page that it would close through the weekend to allow all of its employees to get tested, after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

The business also planned to sanitize the bingo hall over the weekend.

On Monday, June 22, Weber Bingo announced it would remain closed until Saturday, July 4, 2020.

However, the bingo hall is making changes that will impact customers.

Effective July 4th:

All participants/employees will be required to wear a facial covering (masks, bandana, scarf) while inside the bingo hall.

Anyone entering the bingo hall will have their temperature taken at the door.

Anyone with a temperature of 99 degrees or higher will not be allowed to enter.

Patrons are asked to sanitize hands before entering the bingo hall.

Facial coverings will not be required while consuming food or drinks. However, once done eating you are asked to put your face covering back on.

Social distancing will be enforced. Players will be placed at least six feet apart from anyone who is not a member of the same household.

Patrons are asked to remain in their seats once bingo cards or food has been purchased.

Customers cannot walk up to employees to purchase tabs, workers will go to the tables.

Weber Bingo says these new measures will be put in place for the safety and well-being of both customers and employees.
