Early voting for the July 14 primary runoff election begins on Monday.
This year’s process is going to be a bit different because of the current pandemic.
Voters will be using Q-tips instead of fingertips to mark their ballot on electronic voting touch screens.
Polling stations will provide the Q-tips.
Poll workers will wear face masks or face shields.
Hand sanitizer will be available at all voting locations.
Each voting site will be cleaned and disinfected after each voter.
And social distancing rules will be in place.
