9/27 updates:

4:52 p.m. - Nueces County officials announced six new local COVID-related cases on Sunday. It pushes the county's pandemic-wide COVID total to 20,462.

County officials also announced 71 COVID patients currently are in the hospital, including 28 of those in ICU. A total of 2,642 local COVID patients have been hospitalized. And 19,588 local COVID patients have recovered during the pandemic.

4:12 p.m. - Nueces County officials announced one new local COVID-related death on Sunday, boosting the local pandemic-wide total to 413. The patient was a male in his 80s whose comorbidities included coronary artery disease and hypertension.

9/26 updates:

11:05 p.m. - Kleberg County officials announced one additional COVID-19 case to report late Saturday, impacting one household. It pushes the county's pandemic-wide total of cases to 1,002.

4:58 p.m. - Local officials announced five new COVID cases were diagnosed on Saturday, boosting the pandemic-wide local total to 20,456 cases.

County officials announced that 72 COVID patients currently are in the hospital, including 26 in ICU. It's part of an overall total of 2,642 patients who have been hospitalized during the pandemic.

Nueces County reports 19,536 local COVID patients have recovered.

4:40 p.m. - Free COVID testing will take place Sunday in Kleberg County.

4:27 p.m. - The Corpus Christi - Nueces County Public Health District reports one new COVID-19 related death on Saturday, pushing the county's pandemic-wide total to 412 deaths. The patient was a female in her 70s. Her comorbidities included diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease.

9/25 updates:

4:32 p.m. - Nueces County is reporting one COVID -19 related death and 17 new COVID cases on Friday, boosting the county's pandemic-wide total to 411 deaths and 20,451 cases. The fatality was a female in her 80s. Her comorbidity included heart disease.

9/24 updates:

4:57 p.m. Nueces County is reporting 32 new cases, bringing the number of people who have had COVID-19 in the county to 20,434. Of those patients, 19,467 have recovered.

4:01 p.m. Nueces County is reporting two COVID-19-related deaths Thursday. Both were men, one in his 30s and one in his 70s. The patients also had underlying medical issues including diabetes and kidney disease.

4:02 p.m. Live Oak County is reporting a total of 429, a three-case increase from Tuesday. Out of these cases, 213 of them are FCI inmates and the remaining 216 are not.

11:54 a.m. Jim Wells County reported seven new cases Thursday, bringing the number of people who have had COVID-19 in the county to 1,457.

9/23 updates:

6 p.m. Nueces County is reporting 132 new cases Wednesday, bringing the number of people who have had COVID-19 in the county to 20,402.

4:29 p.m. Nueces County is reporting one COVID-19-related death, a man in his 70s. This brings the death toll in the county to 408.

9/22 updates:

4:44 p.m. - 320 total cases reported in Aransas county Tuesday.

4:41 p.m. - 1,459 cases reported in San Patricio county Tuesday.

4:00 p.m. - Nueces County reports two additional COVID-19 related deaths for a total of 407. The daily case count has not been released yet.

1:56 p.m. - There are eight additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Jim Wells county, bringing the total number of cases to 1,441.

1:55 p.m. - Brooks county reports 5 additional cases. Their total is now at 303. They have had 22 official deaths as of Tuesday.

1:54 p.m. - Live Oak County reports a total of 426 cases.
1:53 p.m.- Kleberg County reports that it is now at 998 cases.

12:01 p.m. - Bee county reports 29 new cases making 1,834 total cases.

5:04 p.m. Nueces County is reporting 239 new cases Monday for a total of 20,241 reported cases in the county since March. Of those patients, 19,292 have recovered.

4:16 p.m. - Nueces County officials announced two more COVID-19 related deaths, pushing the pandemic-wide total to 405. The patients were a male and female in their 80s and 90s. Their comorbidities for one of the patients included heart disease.
