The late Gabe Rivas was honored during the Del Mar Board of Regents meeting.
Rivas, who was a member of the board, died last week from COVID-19 complications.
During today's meeting, the regents passed a resolution to express appreciation for everything Rivas provided for the college and for the community during his life.
