Beginning in 1996, proceeds from Buc Days have been awarded to students as college scholarships.

Held on the Corpus Christi Bayfront each spring, this festival provides a variety of events including a ProRodeo, a carnival, and two parades. More than 120,000 attendees line the streets each year at the Buc Days Illuminated Night Parade.
