CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — What kid doesn't want a free toy?
Four days before Christmas you can take your family to Las Vegas Bingo to pick out a toy, no strings attached. Call it a bingo blessing.
"It's a complete free toy giveaway event," Justin Aguilar, the supervising manager at Las Vegas Bingo and Crosstown Bingo, said. "Where every kid that does come out will get a toy, at least one, they get to choose which toy they want."
It's the fifth year the company is giving toys away.
"Every year it's getting bigger and bigger," Aguilar said. "We are getting more kids to turn out. The whole goal is to make sure no kids doesn't get a toy for Christmas."
The event is Saturday, Dec. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Aguilar said this event is open to all children and won't cost a cent.
Every child -- from newborns to 17-years-old -- can pick up one free toy.
"We know a lot of our customers," Aguilar said. "And a lot of them fall on hard times. It breaks our heart to hear that some families won't get a toy this year."
There will be hundreds of toys. In fact, they needed a large U-Haul truck to load the toys they just bought from Walmart.
"We spend about $100,000 total in buying toys for our three locations that are going to have this event," Aguilar said.
Those locations are Las Vegas Bingo in Corpus, Golden Bingo in San Antonio and North Lamar Bingo in Austin.
Aguilar said they raise the money from employees who contribute little by little all year long to the Little Daubers Charity Fund.
"It's the smiles on their faces that makes everything worth it," Aguilar said.
Aguilar said any child can come, there are no requirements.
He said they hardly ever run out of toys.
