Families visiting Dolphin Park on North Beach will soon be able to enjoy a playground.
The former play area was removed after the materials got rusty, but thanks to a grant from the Rebuild Texas Fund and Kaboom, a state of the art playground is on the horizon.
All they need is 150 volunteers to build it.
Rain or shine, Build Day is Saturday, December 8th, from 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
At Dolphin Park, located at 200 Sandbar Ave.
Jobs include: assembling playground pieces, mixing concrete, serving food, and assisting workers.
You must be at least 18-years-old to volunteer, wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
