A 70-year-old woman was killed Thursday evening after she was struck by an SUV.
The incident took place around 6:30 p.m. on SPID near Crosstown. Police say the woman was having car trouble, and was running across the freeway when she was struck. The driver of the SUV was a 16-year-old boy who had his license.
The teen is not facing any charges as of now. Police are continuing to investigate.
