Eight families are celebrating Thanksgiving thanks to the generosity of strangers.
The families live in an apartment complex in flour bluff where a fire broke out this weekend.
Only one unit was destroyed, but everyone lost power and gas, along with their groceries for Thanksgiving dinner.
After hearing what happened to the families, Ron Dominguez decided to help out. He purchased a Thanksgiving dinner from Bill Millers.
“We do have a lot of orders, but always willing to take extra cause I know things happen, life happens,” says location manager Crystal Yanez.
On Thursday, everyone in the complex even guests enjoyed a warm plate of food.
“We were really blessed we didn’t get to go without, and that just means the world to us,” says resident Christina Perez. “Especially when we’re still struggling to make it in the cold.”
