A.C. Blunt Middle School in Aransas Pass held a community food drop today.
The school teamed up with an area food bank putting together bags of groceries for Aransas Pass community members.
“So we saw this as a great way to give back to our community. and we’ve enlisted several of our students to help bag up. we’ve got the community lined up and ready to go through and get some groceries,” said Mary Steed, A.C. Blunt Middle School teacher.
The school plans to do this food drop-off event once a month.
School staff will announce when the next event will happen on their school’s website.
