NUECES COUNTYCounty Commissioner Brent Chesney in partnership with Flour Bluff Independent School District are hosting a community-wide free health fair on Wednesday, August 8th. The fair will be held at Flour Bluff High School Teaching Theatre from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
About 25 vendors will provide information and free services to anyone who shows up. Some of the free services include BMI testing, hearing tests, blood glucose checks, and blood pressure checks. Student-athletes from any school can get a free physical as required by their school’s athletic departments.
Representatives from the Corpus Christi Nueces Public Health District will give immunizations to individuals who do not have insurance or have CHIP, Medicaid, or Medicare. Walgreens Pharmacy representatives will give immunizations to anyone who has private insurance.
The fair and all free services are open to the public. Flour Bluff High School is located at 2505 Waldron Road.
