The McBride Lane overpass at Interstate 3 was shut down Monday because of a weekend accident.
An excavator hit the bottom of the bridge Saturday morning and tore out a chunk of it.
TX-Dot did some tests today to determine the stability of the bridge.
They determined it’s okay.
It will reopen once some broken concrete is cleared.
