A judge increases the bail for a woman accused of trying to sell her own children.  Esmerelda Garza, 29, was put behind bars last week after DPS special agents say they raided a home for drugs where a 7-year-old boy was found.  It is believed she sold the boy to another woman and she was also in the process of selling her other female children, ages 2 and 3.

Garza appeared before Judge Jack Pulcher’s court for a status hearing Monday.  During that hearing, the judge increased her bond from $100,000 to $300,000. The judge said if she is able to make bond, she will be given a GPS monitor and remain under house arrest.

She was ordered not to make contact with her children.
