Police identify bank robbery suspect, ask for help finding him

Corpus Christi Police have identified the man who they say robbed a local credit union last Friday.

Police have a warrant for arrest for 62-year-old Marcus Brown in connection with the robbery that occurred at Gulf Coast Federal Credit Union on Friday late afternoon.

He was wearing a cowboy hat and blue long-sleeve button up shirt and blue jeans with black rim glasses.  He stands 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs approximately 220 pounds, with gray/white hair and blue eyes.The robbery suspect left behind a bag causing police to call in the Bomb Squad.  After a few hours, Bomb Squad deemed it not a threat allowing detectives to investigate the crime scene.

The suspect who was described as between 55-60 years of age, standing 5’08-6’00, weighing between 180-210 pounds, with white facial hair, wearing a long sleeve blue in color button down shirt, blue jeans, brown cowboy boots, eyeglasses with black rims and brown cowboy hat.
