H-E-B has recalled a variety of bread and bun products after an issue led to a possible "unfavorable smell and flavor."

On their website, the grocer listed a swath of bread and bun products that were affected, sold in Texas and Mexico.

The issue was said to have been caused by a "unbalance of yeast" from a supplier. H-E-B advised that the issue does not pose a health risk, but due to the possible smell and flavor, is offering refunds.

Affected products include H-E-B and Hill Country Fare bread and buns with a "best by" date between June 26 and July 2.

You’ll find a full list on H-E-B’s website at this link.

Customers who purchased the product can return it to the store for a full refund. Customers who have any questions or concerns may contact H-E-B Customer Service at 1-855-432-4438 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Central Standard Time.
